Digital Smidgital
Life can be a great teacher. During years of service to an industry developing multi media areas, against my artistic / history mad / literature obsessed real inner life; I had to learn all about photography, video, film , audio and COMPUTING. My children, in particular my son was a sparkling, patient jewel who helped me traverse this often frightening, but always challenging terrain.
Guess what happened when I discovered my first electronic sewing machine?
I leant to use expletives with even greater abandon.
Then I began to really enjoy it.
Now I have been fortunate enough to capture the imagination of a lot of people whose artistic opinion I respect.
Following are just a few images-largely teasers for you to browse through and wonder, “How did she do that? Do I care?”
My insistent question whenever I solve any creative problem in this area is: Why use a computer rather any other tool?
It's useful.
